The Disability Rights Ohio website is in compliance with the accessibility standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. These standards are detailed in Section 1994.22 of the Code of Federal Regulations (Web-based intranet and internet information and applications). Disability Rights Ohio also follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 which are standards created by the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG 2.0 compliance levels are described as Level A, Level AA, or Level AAA. The LRS Web site conforms to all Success Criteria of Level A, and many of the Success Criteria for Level AA and Level AAA. The technologies that the site's content relies upon are: XHTML 1.1, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Portable Document Format (PDF).
