Ohio House Bill 111 - Mental Health Commitments

To authorize certain advanced practice registered nurses to have a person involuntarily transported to a hospital for a mental health examination

SUMMARY:

  • Allows clinical nurse specialsits or certified nurse practitioners to have an individual involuntarily hospitalized for mental health treatment
  • This is also known as "Pink-Slipping"
