Department of Justice seeks comments on four new ADA regulations

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has published four advance notices of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register. The comment process began on July 26, 2010 and will be open for 180 days. The four rules cover:
- Accessibility of websites
- Movie captioning and video description in theaters
- Ability of 9-1-1 centers to take text and video calls from people with disabilities
- Accessible equipment and furniture
The DOJ provides links to fact sheets and the Federal Register for each proposed rule in its Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM).
