Comment on SSA's proposed Employment Network Report Card
The Social Security Administration (SSA) announces two "listening session" opportunities to hear public comments on SSA's proposed Employment Network (EN) report card for the Ticket to Work (TTW) program. An EN is a private or public entity that provides employment support and vocational rehabilitation services to Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries with disabilities who choose to participate in the TTW program. The purpose of the EN Report Card is to help these beneficiaries make informed choices regarding their selection of an EN.
SSA proposes to combine a user-friendly EN Report Card, which contains customer satisfaction feedback, with the current administrative data that EN's submit annually. In addition to providing beneficiaries with a way to help choose an EN, SSA will use the Report Card results to inform ENs about the service expectations of TTW beneficiaries, the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries who have assigned tickets to the EN, and the ways that ENs may improve their performance under the program.
The public, beneficiaries, advocates, ENs, and other professionals are encouraged to provide comments. There will be two listening sessions:
- Webinar: Monday, September 27, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- National Teleconference Call: Tuesday, September 28, 2010, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
SSA is only accepting comments through these listening sessions. They are not accepting written comments.
