Early Intervention
Early intervention (EI) is available for children with or without disabilities from birth through age two. EI is family-centered, focusing on the overall needs of the family to provide the best developmental environment for the child. An Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is required for a child enrolled in an early intervention program. The EI programs are required through Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA).
