DRO releases voting rights report to U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Committee

The Ohio Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights is continuing its study of voting rights in Ohio. At the Committee's first meeting, DRO Director of Advocacy Kerstin Sjoberg-Witt spoke about the most pressing concerns impacting Ohio voters with disabilities. Her presentation has now been outlined in a new report, Voting in Ohio: A Disability Rights Perspective.


New Committee Meetings Scheduled

The Committee has now announced dates for two additional meetings on Friday, April 13 and Monday, May 14. At the end of each meeting, the public is invited to share their voting stories, as time allows. The participation information for the meetings can be found below. To see and hear the meetings, you must connect to both the visual feed online and the audio feed by phone.
